Smartwings

Smartwings is the Czech Republic's largest airline and a significant Central European aviation group, operating both leisure charter and scheduled services from Prague and other Central European airports. As the parent company of Czech Airlines, Smartwings has created an integrated Czech aviation operation combining its own low-cost/charter brand with the legacy full-service Czech Airlines brand. Smartwings focuses primarily on charter and leisure flights serving the Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, and wider Central European holiday travel market, connecting Central Europeans with sun destinations across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, Red Sea, and other leisure markets.

The airline operates an all-Boeing 737 family fleet including Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Smartwings expanded significantly in 2018 when it acquired Czech Airlines' operations, creating the dominant Czech aviation group. The airline operates from Prague Václav Havel Airport as its primary base and serves both German-speaking markets and Central European travelers.
