Iberia Express

Iberia Express is a Spanish low-cost carrier and wholly owned subsidiary of Iberia — and by extension International Airlines Group (IAG) — operating short and medium-haul routes within Europe primarily from its Madrid-Barajas hub, functioning as the feeder and point-to-point low-cost complement to Iberia's long-haul mainline operations. Unlike traditional European low-cost carriers that operate independently, Iberia Express was designed from inception as an integrated component of Iberia's hub operations at Madrid, feeding passengers onto Iberia's transatlantic and intercontinental long-haul flights while also competing in its own right on intra-European routes where Vueling and other budget carriers operate. Operating under the Iberia brand identity and benefiting from connections through Iberia's oneworld membership, Iberia Express offers passengers a seamless experience including Iberia Plus Avios earning, the ability to check bags through to final long-haul destinations, and connections timed to Iberia's intercontinental departures.

The airline operates an all-Airbus A320 family fleet and offers competitive pricing that sits between pure low-cost carriers and Iberia's mainline fares, with optional extras for seat selection, checked baggage, and flexibility.
