How do I do web check-in for IndiGo?
IndiGo web check-in is available from 48 hours to 1 hour before departure.
Steps to check in online:
1. Go to goindigo.in or open the IndiGo app
2. Click "Web Check-in" or "Manage Booking"
3. Enter your PNR (booking reference) and last name
4. Select your seat (free seats available, premium seats chargeable)
5. Confirm check-in
6. Download your boarding pass (PDF) or save to app
At the airport:
• If only carry-on: Go directly to security
• If checking bags: Go to the bag drop counter
Important IndiGo check-in deadlines:
• Web check-in closes: 1 hour before departure
• Airport check-in closes: 45 minutes before departure for domestic
• Airport check-in closes: 60 minutes before departure for international
IndiGo charges Rs.200 per passenger per sector for airport check-in on domestic flights — web check-in is strongly recommended to avoid this fee.
