Vivaaerobus

VivaAerobus is a Mexican ultra-low-cost carrier headquartered in Monterrey, Nuevo León, and one of the three major domestic Mexican carriers alongside Aeromexico and Volaris. Founded with backing from the IAMSA bus transportation group, VivaAerobus was conceived as an aerial extension of budget surface transport — bringing the affordability of bus travel to the skies for price-sensitive Mexican travelers. The airline operates primarily from its home base at Monterrey General Mariano Escobedo International Airport and has established a significant presence at Mexico City's Benito Juárez International Airport and the newer Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).

VivaAerobus operates an all-Airbus A320 family fleet and follows a strict ultra-low-cost unbundling model, charging separately for all services beyond a seat and a small personal item. The airline has undergone significant network expansion in recent years, adding international routes to the United States including Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York, as well as Caribbean and Central American destinations. VivaAerobus has invested heavily in technology to allow passengers to manage all aspects of their travel through the airline's mobile app, reducing customer service overhead while improving the booking experience.

The airline has positioned itself as the value alternative for travelers between northern Mexico and the United States, particularly for the large communities of Mexicans living in Texas, Illinois, and California.
