Nepal Airlines is the flag carrier of Nepal, connecting the Himalayan nation — home to Mount Everest and eight of the world's ten highest peaks — with regional destinations across Asia and the Middle East. As a government-owned carrier serving a country whose geography makes air transport essential for both domestic connectivity and international access, Nepal Airlines operates from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu — a challenging high-altitude airport surrounded by mountains that requires specially trained pilots.
